     Mallory Ezernack, 2004 Personal Ponies National Theme Child and Jr. Director for Personal Ponies Louisiana, was a blessing and inspiration to all who had the good fortune to know her.  For many years, Mallory and her family shared PPL ponies during a variety of activities for differently able individuals throughout Caddo Parish in northwest Louisiana.  They routinely took ponies to visit special children and adults at Camp Rainman, Barksdale Air Force Base, four area nursing homes, public and private schools, churches, hospital and home visits, and much much more.  Mallory and her family were instrumental in overnighting and traveling many many ponies, both north and south, to reach their destinations with families who have differently able children.  Despite her own serious health issues,  Mallory insisted she and her favorite pony Mickey, visit as many special kids and adults as often as possible.  On most any given day, Mallory could be seen with her oxygen bottle en tow, and her beloved Mickey at her side, going about her community spreading miles of smiles.  Personal Ponies is deeply appreciative of the Ezernack family's tremendous generosity, kindness and caring for others.

     Mallory often wished that every differently able child, across the nation, could love and enjoy a pair of ponies as sweet as her Mickey and Minnie.  In celebration of Mallory's life, and in her honor, Personal Ponies has established "Mallory's Pony Travel Fund" to aid in transporting ponies to waiting children, east to west and north to south.  This fund, and the many lives that will be touched, shall be the result of Mallory's wish for other differently able children.  Mallory's legacy shall live on in their hearts as they too spread miles of smiles across the nation.

For Mallory's Friends

So briefly was this star on Earth,

A gift from God to grace your worth.

The love that runs from heart to heart

Will never fade, always a part

Of memories to ease your years,

To ease your pain, to ease your tears.

Remember her with love and laughter,

Honor her now and ever after.

She's been called to a better place;

She runs, she jumps, she sings & plays.

Too soon was her life's work attained

Yet now, she shines a star again.
